Hospicecare photo competition 2010

As before, we are looking for excellent ‘postcard’ photos taken in Devon to appear in our 2011 calendar. Last year we sold 4,000 calendars raising £8,000! There were 190 competition entries last year, with 11 chosen for the months and 3 for the front cover.

A shortlist will appear in the Express and Echo at the end of March when readers will vote for their favourite.

To enter:

Entry is free
We are looking for landscape pictures that would make a great postcard
We need to show all seasons of the year, and a mix of rural, suburban, coast, country, city and villages
Pictures must be taken in Exeter, mid or east Devon, the area where Hospiscare works
Entries need to be at 300dpi or of good quality 6x4
Three photos per entrant maximum

Send your entries to s.healey@hospiscare.co.uk or hard copies/disk to: Hospiscare, Dryden Road, FREEPOST SWB 31068 Exeter, EX2 5ZZ, by Friday 19th March. Hard copies will be returned.

Winning photographs will be appear in the Hospiscare 2011 calendar that will be sold across Devon in our 17 shops, raising funds to care for local people.
